Important - Please Read - Warranty Terms

PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY!
THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS BELOW APPLY TO ALL YOUR PURCHASES FROM Computers-Edge.Com. THEY CONTAIN VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, INCLUDING LEGAL LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT APPLY TO YOU.

By placing an order with Computers-Edge.Com, you ("Customer") agree to be bound by the terms and conditions listed below. You and Computers-Edge.Com agree that the following terms and conditions are the exclusive terms governing the sales transaction between Customer and Computers-Edge.Com. Any attempt to alter, supplement, modify or amend these terms and conditions by the Customer will be considered a material alteration of this agreement and, therefore, are null and void. In addition, these terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check these terms and conditions carefully each time you place an order with Computers-Edge.Com.

Important: You must have the invoice for warranty. Without the valid invoice, no exchanges, no returns, no service.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Our system automatically does not pre-charge credit cards on all online orders. Credit card transaction proceeds when the order is shipped.
     
  • Computers-Edge.Com reserves the right to refuse any sales
     
  • All purchasers are assumed to have sufficient knowledge to upgrade their system on their own.
  • Customers are held responsible for knowing "HOW TO" upgrade purchased components.
  • Computers-Edge will not answer "HOW TO" questions in relation with the customer's existing system.
  • Computers-Edge will answer specific technical "WHAT IS" questions on the products purchased.
  • Computers-Edge does not guarantee compatibility between the purchased items from Computers-Edge Web Store and the customer's existing system.
  • Computers-Edge does guarantee compatibility among products carried by Computers-Edge Web Store.
  • Customers will be responsible for all freight, insurance & C.O.D. charges for any refused shipment.
  • Computer-Edge will impose a $30.00 charge for any returned check.
  • Any service after our warranty is subject to current repair rates.
  • The warranty does not cover battery for CMOS/clock, physical damaged, power surged, lighting damaged, etc.
  • Unauthorized repair or service (repairs made from any source other than Computers-Edge) will not be covered by Computer-Edge Warranty.
  • Computer-Edge is not responsible for typographical errors.

RMA RETURN POLICY

  • All sales are final after 30days from invoice date. Within 30days, Computers-Edge will replace products which proved to be defective. No Refunds. Within 30days, Computers-Edge will replace defective part with the same item or of equal quality.
     
  • After 30days from invoice date, manufacturer's warranty applies on some parts including motherboards and memory. Customers can contact Computers-Edge for mfr. warranty
  • No matter what the reason for return (including DOA-claimed returns), customer is responsible for shipping fee coming to Computers-Edge.
     
  • Computers-Edge technical engineers test all the returned items. If not defective, they are shipped back to customer and customer will be responsible for shipping fee from Computers-Edge to customer.
  • Defective items (approved defective by Computers-Edge technical engineers) returned within 30days from invoice date will be replaced with new replacement and shipped to customer at no extra charge.
     
  • Manufacturer's warranty is NOT offered by Computers-Edge. Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling fees from Computers-Edge to customers 
  • Computers-Edge does not offer cash or credit refunds nor merchandises exchanges. Only defective replacement is allowed.
  • Absolutely no products with physical damage will be accepted for RMA.
  • Returns will not be accepted on any opened software. All software sales are final.
  • All custom orders, special sales and discounted sales are final
  • All shipping and service charges are non-refundable.
     
  • All returns must be in resalable condition and complete with manufacturer's original packaging and contents, a minimum $5.00 for missing item plus 15% restocking fee from the current Computers-Edge price will be applied.
     
  • All returned products must bear the original Computers-Edge warranty stickers on the products. Any returned items without the warranty sticker will be refused.
     
  • Warranty on RMA return will automatically be voided for (a) customers' improper handling/packaging/shipping, or (b) customers' alterations to the products in any way without Computers-Edge's prior written consent.
  • Computers-Edge will not be responsible for shipping damages. All claims for shipping damages must be presented to the carrier immediately by customers.
     
  • RMA numbers must be obtained prior to returning the products.
     
  • RMA numbers are only valid for 10 day from the date of issue by Computers-Edge.
  • UPS Ground will ship all replacements unless otherwise arranged.
  • Costs incurred by any unauthorized use of Computers-Edge freight carrier accounts for RMA return shipment will be charged back to the customer.
  • Computers-Edge will not accept RMA return shipment on Freight Collect or C.O.D. basis.

RMA PROCEDURE

  • Customers must email returns@computers-edge.com to obtain a RMA number.
     
  • Once completed, Computers-Edge tech service department will email customers Computers-Edge RMA numbers.
  • After being assigned RMA numbers, customers must ship the products back to Computers-Edge freight prepaid. The RMA shipment must include Computers-Edge RMA number and the original invoice. The outer shipment box must show the assigned RMA number clearly printed on the outside of the box.
